Since 1979 the goal of our preschool is to prepare your child for success in kindergarten and beyond. This is done in a structured program of learning given in a Christian, small group environment. We are concerned with the child's total development: physical, cognitive, social, emotional, as well as spiritual.
All of our staff meets the licensing requirements of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. All teachers are trained in CPR, First aid, recognition of communicable diseases, recognition of child abuse, recognition of food allergies, and child development courses. The administrator has been awarded a Child Development Associate Credential by the Council for Professional Recognition.
Venice Presbyterian Preschool has been designed for families who would like their children to become accustomed to a school environment and have the opportunity to interact with other children their age, but who are not looking for full-time daycare.
We believe that parents are an integral part of a child’s successful preschool experience. Parents are welcome at the preschool at any time, and there are many opportunities throughout the year for parents to be involved. |
